Synopsis
There are two characters in a nondescript, institutional grey room: Selvina (soprano) and Meline (mezzo-soprano) read a book, Werner's Nomenclature of Colours, whose vivid descriptions transport them to different fantasy worlds that exist beyond the room. As they journey from one reality to the next, bathed in color—from forests, stormy seas, and islands to a palace that holds memories—Meline struggles to piece together memory fragments and images from her past that hold the key to her identity, and seem to revolve around Selvina.
